OK, I need help here!!!
So often listeners write in asking for suggestions on songs to dance to during family weddings. I generally recommend Billy Dean’s “Let Them Be Little”, I also love Kenny Rogers “Through The Years”. What are your suggestions, I would like to assemble a list and I’m looking for suggestions. Whether you are dancing with the bride or the groom, what song do you think is most appropriate?

I agree with your choices, very good ones. What about Alan Jackson’s song, “Remember When?”

How about Heartlands — I loved her first.
Have a great week.

Terri,
Growing up, I had my biological father in and out of my life, but the two constants were my grandfather and step-father. For my wedding, my biological father did not show up, and I was fortunate enough to have both my grandpa and stepdad walk me down the aisle. When it came to the father/daughter dance, we danced to I Am Your Child, Barry Manilow. It was very emotional from my stepfather because the song says so much! Sorry for writing a book, but I’m sure people don’t know this song, as it really wasn’t popular, but I encouraged everyone to download it! (ok, don’t pirate it as newman would do!)
