Working at WBEE is truly a labor of love for me.  I was originally hired in October of 1984, 3 years out of college, 1 small market radio station under my belt (1240AM  WGVA, Geneva NY) and ready to conquer Rochester.  22+ years later, I ’m still working on that!!  I have worked every air shift imaginable through the years, along with a number of other jobs around the station but none that I love more than The BEE Morning Coffee Club.  I have worked with and for some of the best people this business has to offer.  For those of you who have listened for a while, you’ll remember the likes of K B Cooper, Coyote Collins and of course the unforgettable Bill Coffey.  He was my co-worker, my mentor and one of my best friends.  His sudden death on Monday December 6th, 2004, left a hole in our staff (and my heart) the size of the Grand Canyon.  I will forever be grateful to Steve Hausmann whom from December 7th, altered his job description and left our other stations as News Director to join me in co-hosting the Bee Morning Coffee Club.  Bill had long been after Jeremy Newman to Produce our show and shortly after his death Newman joined the Coffe Club as producer soon becoming our co-host of the show.  I am one lucky lady and I know it and I am grateful.  You know the rest of the story, Newman missed his home town of Houston tremendously so he packed his headphones, some duct tape, paper clips and the equipment that brought Bill to us from Pennsylvania and he moved home, you now hear Newman and all his musings from Houston Texas, isn’t technology great!
